I am so friggen confused. I cant figure it out. The directions arent detailed enough and i was too tired to think about it. can anyone help. The wires that go to my sub are totaly diffrent then the plug in/hook up on my sub. (if that makes sence)

Eric's right, the sub wiring kit should have RCA connectors that you plug into the AMP. If not, then they either gave you the wrong kit or the correct wires were left out of the kit.

What's the model # of the AMP and SUB? Maybe we can find more detailed install instructions.

most of the time the wires that go from amp to sub will be speaker wire (thickness depending on size of subs) and the wires going from amp forward will be power, remote, rca. and ground should be right next to the amp. but most the time the wires from amp to sub are just thick gauge speaker wire you twist lock onto the back of the sub. the12volt.com has really good diagrams for different ohm and voice coil setups. that way you get the most out of everything.
