Default Coolant ?

My Dak has that orange looking Mopar coolant. The question is : can i mix that Mopar coolant with an over the counter one like Prestone or any other green coolant? Thanks !

dont mix with the green stuff, it can cause all different kinds of hell

Ok! Don't mix it, got it! So, where i can buy that factory coolant? On the dealer? Can i buy it online? Or should i do a system flush and use the green one? Suggestions please!

i think it's called zerex g-05...the only place around here that carries it is napa.

Hey pops! Did you mix it or you got the system flushed and then used Zerex??

I did it when I changed my thermostat. Not a full flush. I figured that if the coolant is the same, it's not a problem. I think the issues arise if you introduce a different type of coolant in the mix. Not sure though...I probably should flush it and get my ratio right again!
