thanks guys hendrixx I was thinkin bout putting sheet metal in place of the expanded metal. but when I had it on driving around I noticed a small increase in mpg. maybe im just crazy. im thinking is due to more air flow over the motor and rad so I kept it open come winter time I may hafta drop something in there to protect the rad

That a good looking setup! works with the truck well.

Ya, for winter you'll def want something to keep the engine warmer.

Looks pretty mean! I lol'ed when I saw in some of the pics where you had painted MOVE OVER backwards on your bumper so people looking at you coming up on them in their rear view mirror would see it!

lol @ the canadians! here in phoenix, that bumper would be perfect! all the airflow in the world, haha.

I can imagine you want to keep all the heat in your trucks in the winter up there though! The coldest it gets in my neck of the woods is ~40 degrees F! If I want to get cold though, I'll just drive 2 hours north where it will be snowy and 10 degrees F.

we are a hearty breed pops lol... I was thinking I may rock guard the bottom half of the truck. from the body line down seeing as when I get the bumper done it will be rock guard as well. my question is if some one our there who is good with photo shop could give me an idea of what this would look like I would greatly appreciate it

I know it has been a long time since anyone posted on this thread but when I saw it I instantly wanted one for my 05. What size tubing did you use and how has it held up over time?

I think it was in a accident and a write off. Looking at his sig, looks like he replaced it with a Ram.
