another custom bumper

Default another custom bumper

so its not a dodgetrucker special but designed this one for more clearence and had a prerunner idea in mind.

the stock absorber broken

first steps mounting bracket 1/4" angle

something went wrong with the bends back to the drawing board reason for the markings came up with this

realised had to lift the washer bottle

later decided it sat to high and chopped it and installed expanded metal and painted trim around head lights which needs to be redone

all thats left is tow points to go over fraame rails and some light tabs for lights and what ever else me and my fab buddy decide it needs

also painted my tail lights will be building a rear bumper at some point and plans to incorporate a winch in the bumper in the future to

thanks guys i do wanna put a skid plate on it but i decided wait till i get the body lift installed (when ever thats gonna be IDK) cause its gonna throw off the geometry of it

lol yeah ive already knocked over some deadfall on my buddies acerage its good to be rid of the martha stewart special lol

i would steal some of the original bumper to put betweeen bumper and head lights look good im looking myself too build something exactly the same but over stock bumper

yeah im prolly gonna put some kinda plating in there but by the time i get lights on it which will be right in that corner it shouldnt be that noticeable

what about adding a "t" in that large gap in the middle, like whats in all dodge grilles? just a thought

I like it alot but i think it will look good having sheet metal where the screen is
