It's not too loud at all. There is a nice rumble to it, but it never really gets obnoxiously loud. It was just too quiet for me with the front res still on. I say take it out.

I have absolutely nothing left of my stock exhaust. I replaced it all going to headers, hi-flow cats and true duals all the way to a Dual Borla performance muffler.

You want to replace everything from the cats back. Hence "Cat back system." That means removing the muffler and resonator.

just got my magnaflow today to replace the pos flowmaster....cant wait to install it!

My 07 only had the one large resonator. I removed that and straight piped it and left the stock muffler. It sounds alot like I had an aftermarket exhaust put in.

so this may be a bit of a noob question buuut i know i got two res i Think one is unde the cab and the second under the box befor the axel does this sound correct i was thinking of cutting the one from under the cab
