It was a concept truck back from 2000. This just begs to be badged a Dakota. Chrysler is sitting on this and wants to kill the Dakota? They deserve to go under.

 

I will start off on engines. Dodge upgraded the 4.7L to 305 horses, thats cool put realy weak compared to other similiar engines.

The Kia/Hyundai 4.6L V8 puts out 385 HP

They had two really good concepts, the other was the Rampage.

I also liked the Durango Dude concept.

 

I don't really see the difference between that and what we have. My biggest gripe is the power that is derrived from the 4.7. How can the Tacoma V6 tow almost as much as us? I think the move to the "newer" 4.7 was a step in the right direction, but maybe a little too late. Beat me to it Blown!!

Didn't know about the Rampage, love the look of it.

Over all I am happy with my truck and will most lilkely keep it till it dies. But this will be my first and last Mopar product if they continue their trend.

dont really care for the first one the front end is do feminine, the rampage looks sick and that durango dude, i thought was the concept for the 4th gen? rams a while back, its been floating around the interwebz for sometime now

 

7k is good my 2nd gen is rated at 6500, i f with my step dad all the time and his 05 gmc sierra with the 5.3l only being rated to 6250 lol, still doesn't compare to the 01 ram my friend's got thing is rated back then close to 8k lb

I agree. The front end of the concept truck looks a lot like VWs. That Rampage would be a killer. Didn't know about it. What happened?

 

it kinda looks like the chopped the back end off the caravan and called it a truck not a fan the dude and the rampage look alright though
