Default Throttle body cleaner

So after driving today my intake sounded louder then usual, when i popped the hood i found my intake had completely disconnected from the throttle body. Leaving my throttle body pulling dirty air since probably tuesday. Just curious to know what damage could have been done, and what i should do about it, throttle body cleaner, or anything else? thanks!

you probably didnt get to much crap sucked it to the intake... hopefully, if there is any visable sign of dirt, you should try to clean it up, otherwise there not much else you can do about it

Run your finger around the throttle body opening, the sand and fine dirt should collect around the residue that is on your throttle blade and opening. You will probably find that there isn't much if any, if there is a lot then you may want to go extreme measures to remove more dirt.
