Smile Finally got around to getting some pics up...Let me know what you all think

Well, I have been a member since last year and have slowly been working on my truck. I think I have finally got enough done in order for me to post some pics, and my sis took some pics for me and helped me upload them...just hope we uploaded them right. Thanks for any comments or suggestions. I would like to do some type of blackout to the headlights and also tint the front windows along with fender flares...which is later down the road though. The rims are bed liner and so are the bed caps. I need to repaint the roll bar with bed liner because it has started chipping. Everything has come along pretty smoothly so far.

Looks good! In the second picture it looks like you just robbed a bank or drove off without paying for gas! (license plate)

Wait. You used bed liner on your wheels? That's awesome!
Did you hafta get them re-balanced? Did it add a lot of weight to them?
Sorry about all the questions, but that's just a cool idea, especially for the off-roaders on here. Your truck looks like its ready for armageddon or something.
Just don't wait so long to post pics next time.

I see that you removed the front mud flaps. Did you have to clearance the rear wells at all?

blakdak07, it added a lil bit of weight to the rims but not too much. I painted them about 3 weeks ago, and I did not get them rebalanced after. I should probably get around to getting them rebalanced, but they drive the same on the interstate at around 75 as before, so I imagine they can't really be too out of balance. I am very happy with the way they turned out.

Oh and donkeypunch, the front mud flaps rubbed way too much so I removed them. I think it wouldn't have been so bad if I hadn't put 2 inch wheel spacers on to make the tires stick out. The rear rubs before it reaches full flex...which I did a little accident to when I was up in the mountains with some friends, but it basically popped back into place and had to add a washer to fix. It only rubs in the front of the rear. I hope to eventually get time to cut it out a little bit if I end up getting oversized fender flares, but this may not happen for a long time.

Looks good! Where in TN are you? We don't go wheelin' in our Dakota, but I've got a '97 Jimmy that I take in the mountains. We're in Newport, only a few miles off i40.
