Captain
putting two sizes on a 4x4 is not a good thing as I understand it.
messes with the 4x4 - I think you end up having to back up to get the truck to pop out of 4x4. at least that's what my buddys liberty had to do when he was running to sizes.

You guys are misunderstanding me, the tires in the rear can be wider then the tires in the front, as long as they are the same diameter. If they are the same diameter, they are the same size, just not the same width. For example, a 305/60 R16 would be the same as a 245/70 R16.
It was just a thought. Probably wouldn't look that great with this particular truck.

need better pics stat! I don't believe it until I see it at full turn on both sides! Do you even have a body lift or just the leveling kit?
either way...I can't wait until I run my tires down so I can get some larger meats on mine!

but it probably would not look good on a truck or work well with a 4x4. I have 18 inch 305's on the back and I believe 17 inch 270's on the front. It is an old pic before i put the exhaust on but it shows the best disparity between tires sizes on the front and back that i have. Plus it looks like the damn thing is going 100mph sitting still lol.
Either way, the 305 is a zmeaty tire and my hat is off to the original poster of this thread for getting it on a dakota. Tires look friggin great on your truck OP! makes me wish I had went for a larger size on my dakota.

If i get home early enough tonight i will spray her off and get some pics, also this is just with 2" leveling and 1" blocks. Im not a big fan of body lifts, but if they ever get a legit suspension i might pull the triggerOriginally Posted by popsnbeer

damn so 305's do fit...that is great to know!! I am going to go with a 305 now...and if it rubs the frame just do a little frame notching and it is all good!! and that shot of the truck from the back looks so sick...good job bro
well sorry for the delay, but i have been busy and we have been having some ****ty weather. I hosed off the truck and took some pics, so dont mind the water spots. And also a review of the first few hundred miles on the tires... I couldnt be happier, they are quiet but bite hard and the look amazing

some pics of the required trimming to the front wheel wells...keep in mind that the bumper was also spaced forward about 1/2" give or take.

The end result with the hood, flares, 20's, and tires make me smile ever time
