Rear Diff Fluid
I am coming up to 30,000 miles and I am going to need to change my rear diff fluid. Is there anything else i need besides 4.5 pints of 75w140

Maybe something to plug your nose ..... that fluid smells pretty bad, no joke.

Greetings sullsdetailling, hey when you change that diff fluid make sure you add a small bottle of friction modifier(that is if you have a suregrip posi unit like my '98 Durango "loredda") otherwise you'll burn up the clutches in the unit...kingoftow

I would recommend synthetic 75-140. More expensive, but worth it.

Felpro Gasket eliminates the rtv and the mess. $5 at most part stores

I have the 8'' diff
and a V6
So that cover will not work but i did find one that will.
Also i am going to be getting the AMSoil 75w-140

What kind of difference do 4.10 gears make over the stock 3.55 gears?
