Well i was wondering what tire preasure people are running on there tires, I am running 34.5 psi is that to much. 44 psi is max on my tires, I am not towing anything just daily driving. what is the lowest I should go in the city driving around.

just depends on how stiff or soft you want to ride and how much of the bumps you want to feel! 35 to me is just right in the middle and i love it! lol but by the time i get home my tires will be like 25 32 38 24 all will be off...god why can't my brother take my truck from my dad and take care of it? lol

I did 44psi on my BFG 265/75s when I still had them, and it lightened up the steering in comparison to 35psi, BUT, the truck hopped like a son of a bitch. 35psi is best.

I run 30 psi in my 265/70/16s and so far I like it. I can spin the truck around on dry pavement though, but that's just that type of tire. IMO, the correct psi for a tire that has square edges like the BFG AT will be achieved when the tread on the tire is perfectly flat on the ground. You don't want the tire riding on the center from over inflation but you don't want it riding on the sides from under inflation. Easiest way to find the proper psi is to pour a bag of sand in front of the tire and drive over it. When the tread marks are the same depth across the width of the tire, you found a good psi. Just my .02

So much depends on the tire. I run 35 lbs. in my 10 ply 265/70R 17's Hankooks and it's perfect.

As for your original post nothing is too high if it isn't above 44psi. Max is max. Unless you were asking if it were too much for a specific reason. Some dial their pressure in different for ride-ability, while others change it for off roading, summer driving, racing, MPGs, traction, so on so forth.
