Default Stock exhaust ?

I bought my truck used with 40,000 miles on it. Did the 2006 4.7 HO's come with gibson exhaust from the factory? I was looking at my exhaust and it looks like factory exhaust system but has Gibson muffler and chrome tip. Truck is quiet when at idle but has a real throaty sound at WOT. Just wondering if this is original equipment.

Cool one less thing to buy lol. It all look like it would be the original equipment. Has 3" exhaust from the y-pipe. Good for adding a turbo. It's so quiet at idle and cruising i figure it was factory. I like the sound of it at part and full trottle.

Stock exhaust on our trucks made it sound like a hushed v6 minivan. That was the very first thing to go...

I've only had the truck for about 4 months and amazingly the only mod i've done is the bed stripe lol. How i restrain from doing anything else to it is a miricle. Give me time and i'll have it turbo charged and at the track. It's in my blood. I've been around drag racing all my life. My wife's uncle is or was one of the owner of the former Candies and Hughes racing team. They have been out of race for quiet some time but still have a few toys they play with at the track. i was at his house yesterday and he was playing around with his 2010 Dodge Challenger. 1st thing he asked me is can you tune it? I told him it won't be long. I can't wait to play around with it and do some test runs.

Oh he took me for a ride in it. Man that thing is bad ***. He had just installed cat back exhaust and a K&N intake. All he needs now is a good tune. He knows how i tune and said he can wait till i get programming for his car.

LOL .. too funny. If it sounded like that i would defenatley do something with it. Nothing like the hissing of the exhaust at WOT lol. Would sound like the air bleeding off ona aircompressor.
