Not being a stickler but an advanced search of the dakota forum would quell this thread

No, new input is not bad at all. That's what makes this forum so great, new Dakota owners join every day and sometimes even I have found it just easier to ask the question straight out rather than spend countless hours searching old threads and maybe finding the answer your looking for. There are lots of knowledgeable folks on here who do not mind answering the same question over again. Keep it coming!

This is not new input. It's over repeated input. Took 20 seconds to find gas mileage threads.

i made a trip out of town this pass weekend and got 19.8mpg hwy. around here going back and forth to work i get 16.5-17mpg. This is with 89 oct fuel with no ethenol. I'll lose about 1 mpg with 10% ethenol fuel and about 2 mpg with 87 oct fuel with ethenol.

I get average of 15.8. The addition of the BFG AT TA KOs dropped my millage by almost two MPG. The tires are great for the money but if you do not need ATs of that degree then stay far away for mileage sake. I will either won't have the truck by the time it needs tires again or if I do I will go with Michelins LT4s or the like. I'm sure the E-fan would help and a few other mods but you get to a point where your spending a bunch of money to get better MPG and years paying for it by what you hope to save.

who cares what the MPG is. On these trucks, it's so bad I don't bother to care anymore. I love my truck so I just drive and deal with it. Have a great day!
