Default Snow is Coming...New Rims

I know there has been a fair bit of discussion on bolting up g3 Ram rims to our Daks. I picked up these rims off a 1998 Ram for $100 - I want to mount up my winter tires 265/70/16's (also pictured). am I in the clear with this combination?

Are Gen2 Ram rims fully compatible with our trucks? A quick answer would be appreciated as I am planning to swap the tires over to the chrome rims tomorrow.

I'll post some pics once they're on, my fall project is a 2" level/lift before slapping the snowies on.

thats a good winter tire you have there sir, those tires pulled my 2WD truck through a harsh Utah winter with little to no trouble

Thanks, I got these off a guy who had them on his Sonoma (hence the alloy rims). After my experience with municipal snow removal in Calgary...snow tires became a no-brainer

Good choice of tire. I will probably put two of those on my stock rims for winter this year. Omaha got a ton of snow last winter and I'm hearing this year will be just as bad.

I'm debating studding these as well...I think I'll wait and run them without studs for awhile and see how they do. Everything I've heard about these tires is that they perform disturbingly well on their own!

I'm winter tire deficient. What is "Studding".......... with tires anyway?

So, these studs can be applied to any tire? I don't want to, but I'm curious.
