In response to the question about adjusting the speedo/odo after the gear switch:
There is a reluctor gear next to the ring gear. It measures the axle speed so it is independant of the gear ratio. You don't need to do anything except change the gears. The speedo/odo and ABS will be correct.
The tuner adjustment for tire size does not need to be used unless you actually change the tire diameter.

I actually have the ability to change my gear ratio from 3.55 to a variety of ones though .... Must be for the shift schedules.

Does anybody have an estimate of the HP and TQ gains from the SC Flashpak ? I finally made the time to remove my Jet chip, reset the computer and download the 87 octane tune.
Even that tune feels better than the Jet chip and it may be my imagination but the shifting feels different.
I'm going to try each tune and see which one I like best.

In Performance 91 you will gain +18RWHP which is pretty substantial when compared to a CAI and exhaust.

The shifting is modified by Superchips. Its basically what makes Superchips stand out from the rest right now unless you need custom tuning. If you are keeping your mods to nothing more than a bolt on or two, they are perfect. For $40, the trans package will allow you to change every shift point to your liking, along with reduce the Torque Managment which will literally plant your head in the headrest between 1-2 at WOT. If you dont want to spend the $40, and you dont like the superchips shifting you can change the shifting back to stock while keeping your engine tuned.

After running a few tanks of gas thru to let the computer learn about my driving, I did some mileage checks:
Just changing from 3.55:1 to 4.10:1 with Jet piggy-back chip mileage went from about 15mpg to 16.68mpg - All city
Adding the Superchips 87 Octane tune - first tank, all stop-and-go with 3 passengers and a load - 15mpg
Same tune, no passengers, no load, city driving but not stop-and-go - 16.68mpg
Same tune, no passenegrs, no load, city driving but trying for best mileage - 18.6mpg.
I am anxious to see my highway and towing mileage. I used to get 21+mpg with no load and 70mph, towing 5,000lb trailer - 14mpg.

Not to resurrect a several month old thread but I am new here so was not available at the beginning. I am interested in a gear swap too. I was wondering what size tire you are running with your 4.10s. I am considering 4.10 or 4.56 and would like some real world experience. My truck has the 17 inch chrome clads with 265/65/17 tires. I have the 3.55 gears now and your experience sounds about what I was looking for for mine.

My tire size is stock - 255/65/16. I have changed to Michelin LTX2 which appear to be slightly smaller in diameter (but I think that's my imagination speaking).
