Default Front brakes clicking???

Ok so a few months ago I put on some performance rotors(dimpled and slotted) and new pads. Now when I apply the brakes I get a clicking sound. Sometimes it's louder then others and sometimes I can hear it when I'm just driving and not using the brakes. Could it just be the slots and drilled holes hitting the pad is it turns?? I have looked and cant see anything thats loose or broken or rubbing. Is this just something that comes with these kinds of performance rotors?? If so that kinda sucks....

On the cross drilled version I have heard issues of heat cracks forming. Maybe one of your is cracked.

yeah, i was gonna say that, I have read that cross drilled rotors are subject to cracking, thats why I wont get cross drilled, only slotted.

Just an FYI, cracks in metals aren't always visible either

maybe the clips that hold the pad firm in the caliper are week. Try replacing them you may have side to side movement occuring.

Id pull of the front wheels and inspect the rotors up close. If it would be making a clicking sound, you should be able to see or atleast feel if theres a crack.

you should also be able remove the tire and spin the rotors and see if you can hear it that way as well.
