NIce truck 08X,

Question..are you starting to get a little gap between the front bumper and fender where they meet at the wheel well?

Reason I ask is because my 08 started sagging a bit, and when I crawled up under it and looked I couldn't find anything up high, like there is nothing connecting the bumper to the fender, there are only mounts like half way up in the front and its kind of supporting the wrap arounds. And the screws on the wheel well liners seem to be intended to hold the bumper cover up against the fender buts its plastic to plastic so.... Mine started off about an 8th inch gap, and then went to about a 3/8 inch gap a couple months later.

I ended up going in at the wheel well and drilling through the lips of the bumper cover and fender and wheel well then bolting it together...painted the drill through hole on the metal fender so it wouldn't rust.

Kind of a bad original design I think, should have been bolted in the first place.

You can see how tight I have them drawn up to the fender now in this pic, just thought id share this fix with anyone who has the same problem on their 08....I know I have bumped the bottom of my bumper cover on some grass and dirt hills..may have contributed to it pulling apart a little.

Yea they are a little small lol i got them as a gift. They're the 510 Series, just under 4" big but im going to get the 525 Series because they're 6 1/4" big. I got into a fender bender a couple weeks after that picture and it broke the covers off the lights and bent my bull bar :'(. That was last year but im going to be getting a new bull bar/piaa lights either this fall/winter or next spring.
