Default Amp Install Help!

I just got my new amp and am having the hardest time finding a place to run through the firewall from the battery to the amp itself. If anyone has any suggestions it would be greatly appreciated.

Smile little help

I dunno how big the wire you're running is, but i have mine (8 AWG) run through one of grommets on the A-piller of the driver side door. You can easily pop one out and drill a hole through it or X it with a razor knife. I suggest using wire loom around the cable up to this point. There are some holes from under the hood to the inner fender that you can route to the cable through. Pretty easy from there, just pop off three trim pieces and you are pretty much to the back seat of the cab...

Hope this helps...

just drill a new hole and put a grommet in, if you got an amp kit it should come with one

I know where the grommet that you are talking about is but once i get the wire through it, it just bunches up and coils up in the frame. How and/or which way do I push it through.
