The 05 Dakota came with a 7yr or 70,000 mile power train. I know 7 years is almost here for a 05. Check with the dealership to see if you can transfer the warranty over, Should be $150. You must be the second owner. Third owner gets nothing.

 

i was the third....got nothing other than the previous owner had already replaced the entire front end except for the struts...

 

Check carfax and get the VIN and order the build sheet from Dodge so you know exactly what you are getting.
