Default Will these fit with out a lift?

I found some chrome Ram Rims with Goodyear HP's 275/60/20 33" dia. with lots of thread life left to them. I don't want to lift the truck. I can tolerate a little rubbing . I may just ask the guy if i could try them on an take it for a test ride.

From what I've read here, with a 2" leveling kit you would get no rub. There are some other folks here that are running 20's that can let you know for sure.

You will get a little rub. My 265/75/16's rub with a 1.5 leveling kit, so I had to do some trimming.

265/75/16's are about 31.7". I turned my wheels till they were at the closest to the flap and measured it. it looks like i'll have about 1" clear with 33's. I'll just have to try them before i buy them.

Those tires will not fit, period. Without any lift, the biggest 20" tire that you'll fit on are 265/50/20. Maybe ask for the rims only for less $$$$.

he won't sell separate. Tires may have less than 8000 miles on them. $500 for tires and rims. I could try selling the tires after.

IMO, with the amount of trimming you would have to do, its not going to be worth it since youll just end up slowing yourself down and putting more strain on the front end. I would take the tires off and sell them seperatly after I bought the rims. With all the Ram owners out there, youll find someone. I sold a set of Firestones with 5/32nds on 2 and 4/32s on the other 2 for $100 on craigslist. Someone is always looking for a good deal on tires because its alot to get a brand new set. Those rims will look pretty good though.

That's what i'll probably do. I'll sell the tires then buy the tires i want, then i'll sell the tires and rims i have after. I should come out pretty good in the end. New tire and 20" for hardy nothing.
