I kept it on for awhile, at WOT it will still not shift into second unless I lift. I have found that at 3/4 throttle it is real nice and firm through all the shifts so I just kept it.

Mine works across the entire spectrum WOT to normal driving. I certainly think its worth the $ I paid for it. Now I just need a stage 3 transmission valve body.

i dont understand it, must be something with the sc/sonnax combo that messes with the 1-2 shift at wot.

When mine did it, I was just doing a normal take off from a light. WOT never gave me any problems.

Maybe, the only transmission tuning in my SCT is the torque management and that is it. My only regret is that this thing didn't come out a long time ago, lol.

Pardon me, that is the 2-3 shift, not the 1-2.
93 octane gas is over $3 a gallon again around here so I'm back to 87 tune. I'm happy with the sonnax, I really like the firmer shifts, does not lose as many RPM's. Between the sc holding it in gear longer and the sonnax providing firmer shifts, makes my truck a real screamer, really turns heads...lol

Now that I think of it, Kent ...... when do you have your tuner set to shift at WOT? I would go back in there and see what your WOT setting is. If your Sonnax isnt letting you shift from 2-3, that means you may have to take it to about 90mph depending on how much the tuner is redlining the shift. I ride 2nd gear up to 5750RPM and that pushes me past 85mph.

I have no idea, i just have the 87 performance tune installed. where would I go to find out the WOT setting and how do I change it? Maybe I need to monitor the RPM's, because I might be letting off before 5750. All I know is it gets there in a hurry and I'm usually like HOLY **** and let off because she's screaming like a bat out of h$ll and I dont want to blow it up! lol
