What would give me more power a muffler like that or straight pipes?
And im not worried about the po-po because i can get around fix-it tickets i was wondering if it was too loud to drive.

i noticed a much louder exhaust when i just replaced the stock pos cat with a spintech hiflow.

Yes, when Travis went wide open cats you couldn't ride with him for very long. It was so loud, you couldn't hear his supercharger, stereo or conversation inside the cabin, lol.

yeah and if you go straight pipe you'll be loosing alot of low end cause of the back pressure! and if your not boosted theres really no point in going straight pipe IMO. just put a muffler on it and gain the power and sound. besides you ever heard our gen 4.7L with straight pipe? sounds like straight garbage after a while.

Mine is straight piped right now i just removed the muffler and both resos. i think it sounds good but i want headers and true duals.

idk just never liked the sound...idk why just doesnt sound like the true 4.7L just obnoxiously loud! i like my exhaust loud but not that loud! lol

Anyone know what size the collector is on the header? And the size of the pipe between the collector and the cat?
