Cable or DBW in my 07 Dak V6
I've been to lazy to look guys but would my 07 Dakota 3.7 be cable or DBW throttle??
When I go to accelerate as I get on the highway , it's like pushing on dead pedal unless I hit it and then it kicks down and revs to 5k.
Thanks Mark

well aren't our trucks Cable? cause if i remember correctly when i was under my hood last over a year ago...its has two wires connected to the Semi-round thing linked to the throttle body that controls when the Valve on the throttle body opens to get em up and go!? i know its vage but thats how i can describe it!? anyone else can describe it better or let me know if im wrong?
05-07 - Your foot controls how much the throttle blade opens and how fast it opens
08+ - Your foot controls the pedal, which is altered by the PCM and opens the throttle accordinly.
Basically, the 08+ will alter the throttle control for better emissions, handling, ect. The SC tuner will remove alot of the restriction on the DBW and will make your 08+ a beast. MrCrash gave awesome reviews of the SC on his 08 and it also adds alot more HP than the SC adds to the 05-07 4.7l engine. Not to mention, the 08 puts out alot more factory hp already. Without a DBW restrictive setup from the factory, most people probably wouldnt be able to keep tires on the rear end.
