if the tire fits on the rim you should be okay! i mean if its bigger you may have some rubbing issues but should be minuet!

This is my first snow since buying the truck last March and I'm actually surprised how well it's doing. It's a 4x4 but the tires are probably on their last season for me. I plan on replacing these with Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revo 2 sometime next year.

Nothing in the bed yet except a travel box.

Again, best of luck happening to find cheap steel rims that fit.

I don't know if a 215 width tire will fit on a 7" rim. 215 mm = 8.5", so maybe.

They are shorter than 245's too, so they will look somewhat small in the wheel wells. The truck will drop an inch or so.

There is no substitute for snow tires IMO, but high quality A/T's will help.

The first snow here has turned into a national news item: 95+ hours of continuous snow has fallen in Syracuse, 20 minutes from my house. Slow and steady, and now there is close to 2 feet outside. The truck is handling great!

Last year when we had 24" dump twice in a week totaling under 4'-0", the first one melted some... the truck still handled like a dream without weight. The wife's car would not move and most other vehicles were having trouble. I love my 4WD

You guys posting the snow pictures are making me jealous. Growing up in Maine and now living in Jersey what they call a "HUGE Storm" down here just makes me wish for an actual decent snowfall. Last winter was my first winter down here, the newscasters had been freaking out about this storm that was going to drop close to a foot. I went to do some groceries and spent a few minutes wondering why the shelves looked like people had stripped all the canned goods, didn't even occur to me that people would stock up for a foot.

I measured in a few places around my property and we averaged around 34 inches. No that's a **** load of snow in two days. I had to buy a snow blower for the tractor coz i had nowhere to put the snow anymore with the plow.
