I've got the Superchips tuner and only have it set up to change my transmission shifting and I love it.

I never played with any other tunes. I'm wondering if the fuel economy makes a difference, in particular on the highway.

 

my best fuel mileage came from the 91 tune. i lost gas mileage when i went to the fuel mileage tune. i think i remember others saying the same thing.

 

Don't waste your time with the economy tune. It seems that the 87 tune gets the same mpg's with better shifting to boot.

 

i installed the economy tune about two weeks ago since gas is up to $3 a gallon again, I figured I'd go for mileage for awhile....HA, thats B.S. I actually lost over 1 mpg, maybe cause I gotta floor it now to get anywhere. I'm going back to the 87 performance tune today.

 

what type of gas mileage are you getting eith the 87?

yes, 87 and 91 tune. i have no idea what the difference is supposed to be in terms of hp.

 

OK, I put in the 87 tune this morning, noticed a little difference in the shifting patteren, I will know a little more on the milage by the end of the week.
