Default Slow Power Window

I did a search and I am not alone with this problem but didn't find any info on a fix either DIY or thru the TSB issued for it.

My pass side window crawls up, especially when damp or frosty. All the other windows aren't speedy but much better than the pass side. I'm guessing the motors are no powerhouses but what holds back one window from another?

Can I lubricate?

Same with mine, front passenger window goes up slower than the rest. I figure, just live with it until it doesn't go up at all.

For me, it's the driver side front window that is slowest.

I too would like a fix, but figure that fix is just replacing the motor itself.

D@MN!!! I've been waiting to see if someone else had this problem...My passenger side is PAINFULLY slow going up....but I'm with dakotaff, I'll live with it till it just does not work at all anymore. The motors are most likely sealed units so there is nothing to lubricate there. Someone needs to dig into the door panel and have a look.

Yup same here. My backseat passenger side window only works about once a month also.

There was a dealer service for this; they replace the tracks and that is supposed to fix the problem. My trucks rear windows crawl up slowly. Im not sure if they would cover the issue out of warranty or not, so I havent tried. The problem is for sure in the mouldings though.

Phew, my passenger window isn't the only one. I thought I was alone here. Well, in this case, bad news is good news in a way lol.
