Default power inverter installed

its locked down to the passenger kick pannel, and plenty out of the way, i used a 6 ga. fuesed amp wiring kit, and its only held in by one screw, just loosen it a bit, and the inverter rolls out eaisly and has quick connects and aligator clips to make it portable, its a 1500w peak 800w continious cobra inverter

FYI: it will NOT power a blender, however it WILL charge a cordless drill which then can be used to spin the blender

I like where you have yours mounted. Did you drill a new hole in the fire wall or did you use the one already there?

Also does the power inverter automaticily turn on. Or do you need to manualy start it everytime you want to use it.

I have the duracell power inverter that tells you the input voltage, the wattage, and the output voltage.

http://www.duracellpower.com/cell-ph...erter-800.aspx

I am useing 4 guage battery cable with a continuous duty solenoid which is ignition switched. The onily thing I dont like about it is that every time you start the truck you need to turn the thing back on. I will take some pics of the setup tomrrow.

I am currently looking for a nice 1200 watt unit that will automaticly turn on when voltage is applied to it. That way I wont keep forgetting to turn it on to keep my power tools and battery packs charged.

That looks great trucker. Now you can surf the net from your truck without killing your pc battery.

i used the rubber boot for the shifter cable to pass through the fire wall, it doesnt on turn on automatically, just a manual switch for now, but i want to tap an acc wire into it that will turn it on with the key
