Default Deep Transmission pan

does anyone know where we can get a deep trans pan for our trucks? i have a 2007 2wd. everywhere i look it only fits the last gens...

Im not sure if one would even clear with the skid plate thats under there. Do you have the 545-rfe?

yea i do, and the only thing stopping it is the transmission cross member...

Well you can always look at another option. A pan will add about 3-4qts of capacity. If you do an external transmission cooler, you probably could add atleast 2-3qts depending on how big the cooler is and how much additional line there is, and if you choose to do another filter or not.

Heat is the major component of failure for transmission fluid, so a cooler would be a good option to look in to, IMO.

alright thanks yea i gotta look into that. how hard is that to install? and where do i mount that?

I havent installed one, but I think DodgeTrucker has. All you do is tap in to the stock trans cooler lines that run to the bottom of the radiator. You should be able to mount it right in front of the radiator. You can get the factory option trans cooler which mounts in front of the radiator, but an aftermarket would probably serve you better.

unless you already have an aux cooler like mine....comes with the tow package...
