Question about Headers for 07 4.7l flex fuel

My MBRP goes all the way to the Y-pipe. Where it clamps, if you move 3 inches south, youre at the Y-pipe.

Sorry I didnt snap a pic for you. It was a busy weekend and I forgot.

If it is true by what everyone is saying how restrictive the y pipe is in our trucks then how come while you have your exhaust off all the way to the y pipe, why not replace the y also? or is that not the factory "y"?

Its the factory Y, its just not something that the average person is capable of doing. It involves sawing and then fabricating or getting a universal Y pipe to fit. Putting a cat-back on gets rid of a lot of restriction by itself. I wont take my Y pipe off because I dont want to lose any more back pressure.
