Default Injen CAI

I have a 08 dakota 4.7 and I looked on stillen.com for the injen intake. On their website it says the intake fits 05-10 model with the PN-INJPF1800WB now on injens website if you search under 2008 it doesnt show up with an intake for that year. So I typed in 2007 and it showd the same part number as above. My question is, will that cai fit an 08? Oh by the way anyone looking for one on stillen.com they are $237.04 with free shipping!!!!!! Thats cheap

yes i have that intake for my dakota...and as far as i'm aware the sensors are in the same place as well as the mounting bracket in the same place...so should be a good fit!

Most of the time the errors occur because the manufacturers havent had a chance to test fit their product on the new model. I would verify with someone that has a 2008 before attempting it though because the styles in the front end did change, and the engine bay was rearranged slightly. With the new 4.7l came a DBW throttle body and a new air hat, so I wouldnt assume its the same.

Update on fitment of CAI. I called autoanything.com because Injen doesnt have a # listed to call and the rep called Injen himself. Injen said the part number INJPF1800WB will fit a 2008, and they just dont have their website updated. Looks like I will be ordering one of these along with the superchips on thursday (payday). Also I think I'm going to buy a ipcw smoked third brake light, anyone else have one of these? How do they look?

yep, all 05+ v6 and v8 will use the same intake, but on the 08 the iat senseor is in a little different location, the wires are a little tight on mine but it fits with no issues

Those 3rd brake light covers are nice, just not worth $141.00...lol.....Superchips is and CAI are definitely the best things you can do for these 4.7 motors. (unless your going to boost)

Dont wast $140 on a brake light just buy some nightshade from advanced auto parts for $8 i did and you can see the brake light no problem. Also the cargo light is still bright i tested it out the other night during a solid bumper sleding session.
