Since my truck was up in the air for a oil change I thought I would grab some pics of the trans cooler lines for people.

Good pics! The one that keeps giving me trouble is in the bottom pic. The hose farthest from the camera. Its the fitting where the rubber hose meets the metal line right after it comes out of the radiator housing. Its leaked there twice in a year.

This is why I love my EVO phone! Has a great 8meg HD camera!
If you are having that much of an issue, I would just go buy the same ID high pressure hose and use 2 cable clamps on each end and eliminate the stupid pressure clamp style.

Its a nice and easy location to get to so you wont struggle doing so.

Yeah, that is a sweet camera for a phone! I think I will do something like that next time it happens, but this time it will be free cuz its still under warranty. The only question I have is how much pressure is on that line and would a double clamp setup still leak or blow off while driving since there is not a flanged end on the metal line? Just Curious.

The service manual says 120 to 135 PSI MAX. Your typical hose will be rated for 300 PSI min most are a lot more, so you will be just fine. Also think about an air hose, at my work we run 120psi and single clamps hold just fine.

Yeah, huge leftover! Its an '07 and I bought it in march of '08. Was a $32,000 truck and they let it go for $22,800. They said Dodge gave them a bunch of money to unload it. They had 2 there at the time both for the same sale price, but mine is the sport with the painted grille and 18's, but the other was an SLT with the 16's and chrome. It was a very nice truck but mine had a little higher sticker price I was curious as to why they had them both going for 22,800. I got the one I wanted tho and the price was right!

seeless - is your dealership covering this under your bumper to bumper warranty or the powertrain warranty? Mine blew off yesterday on my 08 and the dealership is saying I have to pay to replace the lines as I'm out of bumper to bumper but still have powertrain coverage.
