Default Transmission Cooler lines, AGAIN!

Second time in a year my transmission cooler lines have started leaking where the rubber hose fits into the metal collar. Had them replaced in February under warranty, and have an appointment thursday to have them replaced again. What was ever wrong with the old hose clamp setup?

I'd just buy some decent aftermarket ones. Apparently the Dodge ones are crap.

The thought crossed my mind, but when I called the dealership, to my surprise, the truck is still under warranty until march (thought it was up this month). So its gonna be a free-be. Next time I'm definitely gonna do a more permanent fix than the chrysler ones.

Do they make AM ones? I haven't researched it yet, but I just assumed something like that would be dealer. Good to know that they could be AM though. Probly better quality and less money

For future reference, if they fix it and it starts leaking again when the truck is out of warranty, they should still fix it under their dealer services warranty. Any work done by the dealer by me is warrantied for 13 months or 13,000 miles. Shouldnt be any different if you paid for the original job or if it was covered under your powertrain.

Good to know, I wasn't sure how that worked. I am going to ask them on thursday as well just so I can get it out of their mouth too, but like I've said on a previous post my dealer (so far) has been very honest and reliable. I still want to hear them say it tho.

Yeah, technically it doesnt make much of a difference to them if its warranty or not (other than they probably could charge you a lot more). But they get paid from Chrysler for every warranty claim; its not the dealer thats loosing money. So if they dont fix it right, its there responsibility.
