The thing I dont understand is the IAC can compensate for the gap, but it chooses not to. I proped the blade open 1/8" and it still idles fine so its not the small gap around the blade. For some reason, it will give me a high idle when I go to park regardless if I drive it hard or like a grandpa .... regardless of resets or idle relearns.
I just used my SC tuner to put my idle at 800...love it
Where are you setting your idle speed? The only one I can find is under "Advanced functions" and its only temporary. Once you exit out of it, the idle goes back to normal.
under advanced settings when your tuning the vehicle on what tune you want...mine has been permanent and saved...just have to hit save and exit...so it'll do it man trust me!
Hmmm wteboy?? when did you buy your programmer? when was your last update? I do not recall seeing that on mine either, and I just got mine not that long ago. I will take another look tomorrow.
Im too lazy. I checked superchips forums and no one is talking about the idle settings .... so not sure if it came out or not. I am curious though; people claim that they get better performance in the tow tune than they do in the performance tune. Looks like I will be doing an update and changing tunes soon to see for myself.

Let me know how that goes. I hear it takes 91 octane as well. I'd be interested to see how it affects shifting with the superchips.
