I would just make a good defense. Be polite, as you want to get what you want and not upset them. But just state that you want to be sure that you have a complete T304 system, and right now you feel like you have a system with a mistake. You would feel much better with a new system from the factory, and if they would like the old system back, they can have it. Worst they can say is no. Lol

Wow, that sucks.

Do people with T409 Magnaflows have the same rusting? Im happy I did the T304 .... not that anyone sees the exhaust really but every time I get under there I have exhaust piping that is clean enough to eat off of.

So I got the email back from them, haha canadians work on MLK day.

They said that they would for sure replace the part, once they see an invoice. Either my warranty card did not make it through customs, or they misplaced it.

I asked they what the possibility was that they box was simply stuffed with the wring item, and told her that rather than replace one item on it, I would feel a thousand times better if they sent a new one. That way both her and I know that I have a t-304 system, and not a t-409 system. I reasoned it with that if I have a 409 system, then each time one piece starts to rust, I have to take the system apart, contact them send picture, they pay for shipping, ect, and by all was said and done, they would have paid out the nose for shipping, and I would be very frustrated that I had to take the system apart 15 times.

We shall see what she says.

Well being that your tips were rusting too, thats no good. All their tips are advertised as T304 regardless of the system.

Something must be wrong with your setup... I know my MBRP snowmobile exhaust shows no signs of rust and thats been on since 2002. Its been an awesome exhaust Kinda side tracked, but the quality of MBRP in my book is stellar.

Kind of off topic, though when I met Martin up at the one Big East Powersports Show he seemed down to earth and a smart man.

Tips are not rusting, but everything from the muffler back except them is.

Here have some pics of what I am talking about from the spot that is easy to see. You can see a clean spot right above last big spot on the right where I tried to wipe it off, it is def rust, no two ways about it.

On a side note, I got to take some of my anger out on this pos camera. Pos will show red dots in picture, can EAT 3 AAA batteries in less than 5 minutes WITHOUT FLASH, and would take a dark picture if you took a picture of the sun standing three feet away from the surface. So yeah I took the SD card out and the batteries out, and it kinda happened to meet the concrete at a rather High rate of speed. Consider it a crash test on POS cameras if you will. God I feel better, just gave me an excuse to go get a camera that is worth a d@mn.

I have said it since I put it on, I think that I got an effed up system. Multiple fitment issues, lies about mounting, and now rust.

Something definitely is messed up. She asked for the lot number on the box today, so we will see where that goes. Maybe they had an issue with a certain set of these systems, and did not tell anyone. She is escalating this to her supervisor, but she wont be in till tomorrow.

Starting to look like a whole new system may be on my door step in a few days.

On a side note, if they do send a new system, I may compare bends in the pipes on the drivers side to see if the issue with having the tip hit the fender was a mistake, or something that they did not get designed out just right.

Alright, UPDATES.

So I have been out of town for a week again. I checked my email, and it looks like they are going to try to put this off on it being something dripping on it.

They said that I had to put a magnet on it, and take more pictures.

So here are the new pictures.

Yeah, you definetly have a problem with your exhaust. I was just under mine today and the only things that are showing rust are the clamps. Everything else is perfect, and it has been on for a year with about 20k miles on it. WI winters arent the worst, but if this system was going to rust, it wouldve already.
