Got my truck lined up to go to the exhaust shop tomorrow, they said they would take this piece of trash off for free, and then install a good system. Here's to true dual, the glass packs off my ram, and dual exit out in front of the passenger tire. Gonna be sweet, and might sound like I wanted it to from the beginning.

 

If that magnet stuck then you didn't get true stainless steel. Very old trick to check the quality of stainless is see if a magnet will stick to it (it should fall off).

Sorry to hear that, I've been quite happy with my MBRP. I expect mine to rust since I got the aluminized but even then I spoke to them on the phone before ordering and they assured me the warranty covers corrosion (I believe it was 3 years on the aluminized and 5 years on the stainless if I remember right). That said back when I was in Maine I saw plenty of stainless exhaust systems rusting, you get the right combination of salt and chemicals on the roads and everything rusts, it's a losing battle.

Okay so it looks like after sending pictures, invoices, ect ect, I will be getting a new one shipped to me in the morning.

If you have followed this thread, and the one accompanying it, you know what I have to say about the system, and what others have said about the system.

Now here is the offer that I have for anyone looking at this and salivating at the possibility of a deal.

I have already taken the old one off, and the new one will be shipping tomorrow. I had a custom system installed. MBRP is not taking the old one back either, so I will be sitting on two of these kits.

Here is the offer.

I will sell the BRAND NEW one verified t-304 stainless by the team at MBRP especially for me. for $350, plus what ever shipping is. Only to the CONT US, and Paypal is the only payment that I will accept. PM me the address, and I will get a shipping quote.

If you are interested in the one that is used, understand that the box is in no real shape to ship, so I would have to buy a box for it. I have everything for it except the second bracket that I welded to the frame. It would take little to nothing to fab another one up. If you want me to ship it, you are going to have to PM the address, and I will look into shipping, and see what it would cost for a box, and charges; but I will sell the used one for $150 complete less the second hanger. I will of course wipe it all down for you before I ship it. No major rust on it yet, but I assume that it will cover fairly quickly based on the experience with it so far. The clamps on the other hand are well covered at this time.

That is one hell of a deal guys! You cant find the T304 for under $500 anywhere.

Not to terrible bad, if I remember correctly, it was like 60 from new york to me. The guy brought it across the border rather than shipping it in canada.

 

Wow, that isnt too bad. I would expect more since the box is huge.

If you need to quote shipping rates, my box weighed 61lbs according to my FedEx tracking info.

By the way regnath, when I get a chance, I will take a vid of the new exhaust. After working with one of these BA tuners, I am idling @ 650 when warm, and the exhaust is awesome. Sounds BA in the cab too, just like I wanted it. Just quiet enough that with the windows up, you can have a conversation without raising your voice as long as you dont romp on it. Floor it, and you have to yell at each other. BEAUTIFUL.
