You need to plan on getting a new head unit. When a unit does this, especially the cutting in and out, and it is not wires. The individual mosfets in the head unit are beginning to go out.

If you put your new speakers in and still get nothing, and the one still cuts in and out, you will have just proven this to be the case. Looks like it is time for you to start looking into putting in a my gig

Are you familiar with using an OHM meter? Do you have an OHM meter or access to one? Before you shell out a bunch of cash replacing speakers and head unit, you might want to check the readings from the working speakers to the speaker(s) that are not working. I would do this at the back of the head unit and at the speakers.
It will involve a little more of your time, but it could save you money in the long run. Especially if you find out it’s just a bad/loose connector or wire.
My 2 cents. Hope it helps.

no i dont have any OHM things or know how to...but when i get to texas i'll go to a shop and be like this is whats going on and end up just getting new wiring all around with a new head unit and speakers...i just hope the right side doesn't go out while i'm driving cause that would suck driving with no music!
