The brakes were replaced only 5K ago. They have always been weak feeling and even have taken it to dealers. It does stop when I need it to, emergencies, etc. I had an ordeal when I changed the brakes that led to the nearly replacing everything. I will try bleeding them again and look into higher quality brakes. Was just hoping that this was a common problem with a good fix. Thanks everyone!

Mine are just as you described (05 Dakota QC 2wd V8). But both my S10 with 120k and original rotors, and my work truck, '08 Ram 4500 with 80,000, all feel similar. The s10 I would have to say feels worse.

This loaner from my car dealer, '08 Impala 3.5, feels VERY touchy by comparison to my other drivers. I also have an 08 Kia rondo and, while not being as touchy and the Impala, is still much more sensitive than the 3 trucks I drive.
