It looks like it would work if you can fab up a kit you can prolly make alot of money. If you have the spre time and money i say try it.

I contacted rancho, maybe harassing them, and calling them too much of a buch of PU&&^%$ to make a kit for a real midsize truck, will make them think about looking into making one.

I have said it before.... flipping, or altering the tie rod angle will result in major problems, one of them is bump steer, and the balljoint space will also have the same results unless the lower a ARM is dropped the same as the height as the space

the upper, lower, and tie rod are all parallel to each other. changing any of these will result in uneven angles while travelling up and down. bump steer wouldnt be too bad being that none of these guys will ever see more than 10" of travel. think of the arms and tie rods as a = (parallel) if you flip the tie rod or space the upper arm it becomes this < which will mess everything up. the major angle it will mess up is your camber. one arm will reach a certain angle before the other and so on. you could get away with flipping the tie rod IF you drill out the spindle and use a high misalignment rod end. you wont see any bump steer because nobody on here has full travel capabilities.

You won't be able to use the upper ball joint spacers with these control arms. These arms have pressed ball joints, and are too skinny to drill out mounting locations for the spacer kit.

Airbagit makes custom uppers for our truck that take a bolt on chevy ball joint. There $500 for the pair. Problem is no one wants to buy from them.

There are just too many problems to solve to lift this front end right. Lets not kid ourselves, no one wants to invest the money.

The most logical attempt would be to buy the 2.5" leveling kit, and the control arms from airbagit, find a way to drop the diff. Someone suggested the diff drop kit for the last gen dakotas, that they are the same. Then add a leaf or blocks for the rear for 2". Total investment would probablly be $750 or so. Pair that with larger tires, you will probablly achieve a total of 3-3.5" Anymore then that would probablly be a waste anyway...why raise this thing a foot?
