Default emailed a lot of lift manufacturers

yesterday i emailed rough country, though country, pro comp, fabtech, rancho, zones lifts and top gun customs asking if there are anyplans to make a lift for the 3rd gen dakot. each replyed no plans or no plans yet then i came to zone lifts email and they replyed

We are always open to ideas. Typically it’s just a matter of being able to cover initial tooling and production costs that can easily take over 100 kits to cover. Also I’m not familiar with how often the suspension changes on these vehicles from year to year. I will bring this up with the R&D department to see what they think. If you are involved with any Dakota forums I would be interested to see how much actual interest there is. Thank you for your interest in Zone Offroad.

Yeah, its sounds hopeful but finding 100 people that want to dish out the cash for a lift will take a long time. While everyone says "I want a lift" .... get 10% of the people to actually cough up the cash for it. Last time I checked, the list for a lift 3rd gens wasnt to astonishing.

Yeah agreed, but still probably worth a try. Our trucks are supposed to be the same as the Durango's right? Any Durango guys interested in lifting those things a couple of inches? May help the numbers.

I think Eimer could take one for the team. He is right by Chicago with a few other DF members.
