the truck has needed an alignment for a while so yea once i get going on the suspension update it'll get done. that and the brakes lol but that's a whole different issue. i think it's just the pads and rotors. it squeals every time i brake. my husband says they're glazed so i'm just going to replace both sets in the front.

Do you think that will increase the chances of the intermediate shaft failure that so many have?

Ah, not too many have intermediate shaft failure that I have really seen. I know Eimer replaced his, and a few others have had steering issues. I dont recall any of them being due to any leveling kit.

In the steering, my concern would be the rack. Monkeywrench destroyed a few racks within 13k miles or so when he had the TM kit and 265/75/16 tires on.

I havent popped the hood to check how much more the angle has changed, and I doubt it is much. The mechanic took it for a test drive after he aligned it the first time (they asked if I wanted to go with, but I figured Id just stay back at the shop) and he said the wheel was slightly off. He then realigned it again and said it was due to the alignment rack having the factory specs, and the leveling kit threw them off a little.

I wouldnt get anything "drilled" due to cracking issues that people have. When a rotor is drilled, its structural strength is diminished. Dimpled and slotted is a much better choice, and from the link above they come with a lifetime warranty.

A few of the members here, including me, have the premium dimpled and slotted brake package from brakeperformance.com. Definitely happy with them.

Yea, first thing I thought when I saw the "joking" reply was...nice job douchebag. I'm by no means a prude, and I didn't reply earlier not wanting to "call someone out" or start issues, but we get a member of the fairer sex on here once in a blue moon and someone's got to show their *** with a comment like that. :/
