Guys, I am not going to pin point one person on this matter, but just keep this in mind. I know we all know this is a forum of mostly guys, regardless of that, show some respect to the ladies that join questioning about their vehicle. Don't run them off with stupid comments. Its ok to joke, I am not saying not to. What I am saying is don't be a repetitive *** about it. With that being side, on with the helping and posting!

I don't think you need a leveling kit to stiffen the front end....

Sure that could make it stiff..but its also a leveling kit.

Rancho Struts and poly bushings for the sway bar and on the sway bar end links. That would be my vote. Beyond that, there is really nothing else that can be done. The parts and options are slim pickings.

Pretty routine job for any shop.

I agree with Monkey, unless you want it level you dont need it. After driving more, this thing is really stiff. The braking though is awesome! I dont need a comfortable ride.

Best thing then is to just install the Rancho struts. Those are the stiffest. Monroe is good but not as stiff as Rancho. I think kyb makes struts for our trucks too but I dont know anyone running those.

Im running there rear shocks (KYB), just because they were dirt cheap and I needed replacements, and they are soft and weak. So if the struts are anything like the shocks....don't bother.

I couldnt compress my Rancho struts my just putting my body weight on them. I only weight 135, but nothing I could throw at them would make them budge. My oem struts could compress with one hand pressing them to the ground.

Hey guys
I knew that joining a mostly male populated forum was going to bring its own set of ups and downs. Please don't think I get pissed off easily. I'm really a happy go lucky chick who loves to talk about her truck and get info on it. I can take a joke just as easily as the next person. But if it's out of line I'm not afraid to let you know how I feel. I really enjoy talking on here and getting great advice from ya'lls firsthand experience...helps me know what to do and what not to do lmao! So if we can all place nice in the sandbox we'll be all good. Sound good guys? Game on.

I know this is sort of random but not completely off topic- my truck's my daily driver but I sometimes go out in the woods for trail rides. I was checking out the Ranchos and I like what I see and hear about them. But are they ok for on and off road? I mean I'm not doing any hard core sh*t in the woods cuz it's only 2wheel but I don't want to get something that is specified for on road or vice versa. or does it not really matter and i'm just rambling lol

Your just rambling...lol..IMO the ranchos would be the best choice for your application. I have Monroe's on the back and was going to get Monroe's for the front too, but I got a killer deal on some ranchos so I'm going for them. My truck is a road queen so I really don't need them but I could not turn down the price. Go with the ranchos. You will not be disappointed.
