I'm gonna be/hopefully be plasti dipping my rims tomorrow! (black) wish me luck!! lol ill post before and after pics DONT WORRY

Just make sure you clean them well and scuff them up so the plasti dip sticks. Good prep will save you alot of headaches.

This should be interesting! Are you fully coating them or just parts of them? I have been wanting to paint the recessed portion of mine black, but I havent dared and or found the time to do it. My next paint job is the drums and calipers this summer. They are beginning to show their age

Well its a failed attempt today, went to the couple stores and they only had 2 cans all together

Yea your suppose to clean them well as I know of but I haven't heard that you need to scuff the surface, Plasti Dip sticks to smooth surfaces and contracts to the smooth surface, thats why your able to remove it IMO. But yea I haven't seen the need to scuff it

Yea i was planning on fully coating them! and that should be nice when you do your drums and calipers, just gonna be them black?

its going to look sweet. you should also do the bottom part of the bull bar!

I hope so!! and i actually already painted that black with regular spray paint and it looks good!

Plasti Dip, bascically plastic spray that hardens lol and you could remove but i wouldnt leave it on all year long....here are some videos.....
