Default U1120-Lost Wheel Distance

So a weird thing happened today.. I started my truck after work and pulled it forward to my work truck to transfer stuff over, and when I got back to the pickup I saw a bunch of lights were on the dash.

Airbag, Engine, ABS, and BRAKE, even though the e-brake wasn't on.

I flipped the truck around to head out of the parking lot and the speedo wasn't working either. Then it make a ding sound and all the other lights left except for Engine, aswell my speedo started working again.

I went to AutoZone to pull the codes and I got 3 codes, 2 different ones.

U1120-Lost Wheel Distance x2
B2100-Battery Voltage Low

It's strange because my battery works fantastic. It has always started from some really cold starts with no slowdown at all.

But what does Lost Wheel Distance mean?

I have used the search feature and even googled a bit only to find no real answer as to what causes it. People have theories but they never check back when they get things fixed. Some say it's bad ABS modules.

It's still under the Carmax 30 day warranty and I have an appointment for it and some other stuff. But can I really trust the used car dealership to know anything about this?

My worry is that they will delete my codes and tell me it was a glitch. By the time it comes back they may say it's OOW.

Has anyone had this code before and done anything about it? Anyone have any ideas?

I have had this similar thing happen when the engine is running and you bump the key and it falls between run and accessories.

Must be just a simple loss of power. I will have to check my battery connections tomorrow. My s10 had dirty connections once and all the dash lights would light up, then it would refuse to start if I turned it off.

Just noticed there was something mounted on the underside of the dash. Two screw holes.. trailer brake maybe? Hope my electrical isn't a rats nest of spliced wires and such..

Ok, so it happened today again under the same exact circumstances. This time I also noticed that it makes my dashboard **** un-usable while the lights are on.

The ABS may have disconnected. Check front end ABS.

It may be ABS sensor problem ie sensor shorted or damaged and needs replacement.

If your engine revs abnormally as well while stopped may be indication that you need RPM control sensor changed

2 1/2 year old thread, but mine is rear ABS only. this glitch hasn't happened for about a year and a half though so who knows what the deal was. A friend of mine bought an 06 Durango recently and had the same EXACT thing happen twice. No ill effects ever come of it afterward.
