Default New Tonneau Cover

Decided to go with an Extang Black Max tonneau cover, got it installed yesterday. Went with this cover because: It was in my price range, it had good reviews, they guaranteed it would fit the funky bed rail contour on these trucks and they gave me $25 off when I called to ask about it....so for less than $200, I'm happy with it. More pics later cause it was dark and my phone does not take good pics under flourescent.

Looking good! Are they real button snaps or those plastic rail snaps?

They are fiberglass snaps on the rails.

Sweet! I'm constantly on craigslist looking for stuff but sadly there are not that mant 3rd gen Dakotas around here. I did manage to snag a Leonard bed cap in almost the right color for $100. I use that for camping when I go fishing.

Thats where they differ... mine are aluminum. The only downside to the aluminum is if you decide to not wash the truck for a great length of time because its a whole week of forecasted rain, the truck will get streaks of black down the sides almost like fretting corrosion, but it wipes/sprays right off.
