Lift kit already here!?!?!?!?!?
In calling around and checking the interest of lift companies, I found one that has actually already built some lifts for the 3rd gen dakotas. He told me they had been working on it but didn't want to say anything til it worked for sure.
So far they have the following options in testing:
-6" lift (6" front, 4" rear)
-4" lift (4" front, 2" rear)
-long travel kit that will utilize stock lower control arms but give about 4 more inches of travel! It will also give 0-3.5" of lift (and is adjustable)
They guy said you could combine the long travel with the others as well!!!!
I got my money saved for this guy....I'm not waiting on that guy Dave anymore...SORRY!!!!
I'll keep you all updated for sure.

not yet...he didn't tell me much. Said the goal was to release it some time in March and they were going to run a kick off special like every so many kits sold, 1 would be given away free. I told him I would help market and I knew a lot of guys if he would knock some money off
He told me he would give me one at cost if I posted pics and helped drum up business.
So here I am!
He said for me to plan on having my truck available the last week of February to get it put on so I should have pics up soon. He only told me what my cost would be so I'm guessing the retail is going to be around $1500 for the 6" or 4". Not sure about the long travel yet.

Excellent work, I've been waiting for this for a while. It may be a good idea to ask if he would consider some pre-release group buy or something. Good for everyone, more kits sold and little better price for us.

Thats a good idea too. Well before I talk to him again lets come up with a proposal. What do you guys think would be best as far as asking for discounts related to group buys etc? Like should I ask what discount he could give for group buys of 10 or 20?
^ I'm in the same boat for sure ^
Waiting for a lift has been like trying to play the lottery...you don't believe it til you see it (or have it) but once you do the party is on
