I currently have Mid grade gas in my tank right now, i still have half a tank before i will put 93 octane in, my question is, if i switch over to the tow tune since it seems from the comments it is the best tune, will it be alright with mid grade gas or should i wait until i fill up with 93? also if i switch to the tow tune, will it be alright even though only tow like once or twice a year? will it hurt anything driving around with the tow tune and not towing?

 

Nope, won't hurt a thing. Tow tune works fine with 91+, but is designed for 87.

Tow tune requires 91+ octane. Its not like 91 tune. Its only the same in that it requires the same octane fuel. It is totally different performance wise. IIRC the 91 tune advises against towing.

 

so which tune do you guys suggest is the best all around tune to run on the truck?
