Default 05 dakota windshield wiper res. problem need help

I disconected my windshield wiper pump from the resevior due to the fact that it was frozen solid. I thawed out the resevior and now When I try to connect it I cant get a solid seal on the pump. It just leaks from where the pump goes in. I was wondering if there is a washer of some kind that I lost when disconnecting it. Any help would be great thanks in advance

Theres a good chance that when it froze something cracked and now its leaking. Unfortunatly when liquid freezes it expands .... and in this case it probably didnt have anywhere to go.

Heres what I have in the parts manual. You can start searching part numbers online to try and find diagrams of the pump itself.

I would say either the line to the truck is still frozen and the pump has no where to push the fluid. Or the hose is still very cold that when you removed it you expanded the size of the tube. I would probably get the wifes blow dryer out and warm up the hose and connection then cut off a half inch of the tube and reconnect it.

Without the grommet the pump will not seal. When I pulled out my overflow/washer bottle combo to fit the blower mine came out. When you lift the pump off the tank you can see where the grommet goes.
