ALSO i dont see where he said it was tested and proven. he just said 'These are some pics of the product as we tested it on his vehicle and will have more pics of the completed (all powder coated and pretty) parts on our site soon.' now im not trying to stir crap up but i think you guys need to calm down a bit, from what he is saying it looks like it is pretty much a test fitting and the final product will be better than what you see here.

anyways before its too late and they start putting it into production, you guys need to get your butts over there and start posting your questions/concerns about weak spots/questionable spots for them to improve/strengthen

I see what you are saying, but after working a reputable race company, I have deduced several things from being a marketing director and working the R&D side: Don't post information that is inaccurate, or misleading. DO NOT POST PICTURES OF PRODUCT THAT IS HALF-A**ED. When you do it, you open yourself to extreme criticism...which is what is happening right now. Clearly, there is confusion as to where the kit is being "slapped" together from. This is not good for a company that is claiming that they are manufacturing their own lift kit. It shows "flakyness".

So, as tactfully and respectively as I can put it, I won't "calm down a bit" because there is no reason to. I am grateful that someone is trying to solve a much needed problem. However, misleading information is something I have a huge problem with. I also have a huge problem IF IN FACT "Jack My Ride" is using components from another manufacturer and claiming that they are his. That is plain dishonesty.

Per his response on the Blog.

"Thanks for checking back. Yes, the kits are made and the 6" kit has successfully been installled and tested. I do appologize for the delay. Here is an update on the information until the site is published:"

Succesfully installed and tested.

All that we can hope is that this kit has been re-worked since it was installed and tested.

I would say that given the look of that brake line, they did not flex it too much, if they raise that tire any more, it is going to rip it out...

As for being ripped off...well you can see that the diff drop bracket above the driveshaft is not just bent steel like included in lift kits, it is two pieces welded at an angle to make it fit. Looks like they did not have bending tools...

I think that the spindles are a steal from another kit, it looks like it was grinded down on the inner back side to keep from binding during turning.

From the looks of this kit, I think that I am more happy going SAS now then I was before I saw the kit.

Not complaining about the price, but that rough country kit is 999 for the whole shebang, they want double that...
