08 dakota problem
So, i got a new dakota, 08, v8, flex fuel, quad cab, laramie 4x4..... So i have been driving it and have noticed a almost rubbing like, shutter on quick accelerations.
It only last a couple of seceonds. If i engage the 4wd i dont feel it.. Any i deas on what would cause this?????
Oh the truck only has 47,000 miles on it.

My 2wd will "shutter" sometimes when I take off on a semi-wet road. It's just the tires gripping/slipping/gripping/slipping repeatedly for a couple secs until full traction is achieved. Going into 4wd would eliminate this slipping.
I have a 2008 Dakota V6, I bought it new and i noticed that when I accelerate hard that it shifts hard (not hard but you could notice a little bump into 2nd) but from 2nd gear and so on it shifts fine. Sometimes in the morning when its cold out and im slowly accelerating it will almost feel like it jumps into 2nd, idk its hard to explain what happens...

Any shake/vibration I have felt in my truck has been ruled to be the LSD in the rear.
I was in my dads AWD Taurus and it has the same vibration on accelerations and turns, but its alot worse than my truck. Almost feels like something is wrong if you dont know its AWD.

im sure its not the tires slipping/then gripping....it does it on dry surface as well.
The truck is 4x4 not awd.....it fells the it comes from the front mid are of the vehicle.
To me it almost seems like the 4wd is trying to engage but its not...
