06 motor swap in an 01

Talking 06 motor swap in an 01

im getting an 06 HO motor to swap into my dakota. 30 more days till billy and I start to do some great things. i will use this thread to post pics and updates. with out billy i would be a lost cause.

great news!! did you get it for a good price? and....now you can sell those ho cams...since your new motor already has ho cams.....lol

not a great price but w/e. im giving my old motor to billy it depends on what he does with them. they wont be mine.

And the motor has super low miles, that is the best part. An HO motor with low miles, lol, the forged crank alone would make it worth buying IMHO. Once I start taking the old motor apart I will post up what I will selling.

HO engines have forged cranks? thats pretty cool that would bolt up to our engines right

The HO pistons have two great advantages. The first is being dome shaped and the second is the floating wrist pin. Great combo for running boost.
